Tarpon and Trout Fishing with Pavel and his Dad
Went out fishing today with a father and son duo- both named Pavel. Pavel Sr. is in town from the Czech Republic visiting his son in the Florida Keys. Their goal for this trip was to catch a tarpon and some seatrout. The tarpon were laying low- didn't see any rolling action, but did manage to find a few. Landed a nice tarpon- Pavel's first on the flats. Overall, it was a great day with a tarpon, some trout, jacks, and snapper. The weather was awesome- warm and in the 80's. The backcountry bite should heat up more and more as we transition into our winter season down here in the Florida Keys.
