First Trip of the New Year!
I hope everyone had a happy holiday season!
First fishing trip of the New Year. I'm glad to see the water temps in the mid 70's. The weather has been amazing with day time highs in the 80's. Went out for a short afternoon trip to catch seatrout with Nicole and Branson. The fish were very cooperative with lots of action from seatrout, jacks, ladyfish and snapper. Had a great time and came back to the dock with fish for the dinner table.
The permit bite should get better and better in the weeks to come and we're already seeing large tarpon showing up in the backcountry.
